Answers to
some of the more frequently asked questions that we hear
from our customers. |

Q: I would like to place an order from your website. Is it secure?
A: Yes! Your transactions are protected by the highest levels of
encryption possible with the best firewall protection available in
secured facilities within the United States, with access limited to key
personnel. Once placed, your order resides on a secure server, and your
order is accessible only by Korit Sales personnel who have the proper
password. You can be assured that your personal information
is secure. In the several years that the software has been in use,
our software designer has never experienced a breach of security or loss
of protected information.
Q: I'm still concerned about security. As I'm filling my shopping
cart with items, I do not see the "padlock" icon at the bottom
of my browser (which indicates a secure transaction).
A: That's because, when you think about it, no security is necessary at
this point. You are merely an anonymous person adding items to an
anonymous shopping cart. Security is necessary only at the
point in which you are required to enter your personal
information. At this stage in your order on korit.com, you will
notice that the "padlock" icon appears. The secure
encryption will begin at that point in your order, and continue until
you have submitted your order.
Q: I am interested in placing an order, but I would like to know how
much shipping will be. How can I find that out before sending the
order?
A: Add all of the items you want into your shopping cart. Then
click "Order Checkout" button. The next screen will ask
for your personal information. Fill in all of the required
fields. If you're just visiting this screen to see your shipping
total, it doesn't matter what you enter in the fields (example: feel
free to enter
all xxx's for your name, etc.). Then press the "Proceed With
Checkout" button at the bottom of that page. An order
summary, with shipping totals, will appear on the next page. If
the order and shipping totals meet with your approval, you can either
hit "Submit Secure Order" (provided that you have entered your
correct personal information), or use your browser's "Back"
button to make changes to your order, or to correct your personal
information. Remember: No personal information or order details is
submitted to us until you press that final "Submit Secure
Order" button. Also, if you use your browser's
"Back" button, make sure your order quantities are
correct. If they're not, correct them and press the
"Recalculate Order" button at the top of the screen.
Q: I ordered an item(s) that offer Free Shipping, but my order summary
shows $6.95 shipping charge. Why?
A: As indicated throughout our site, the $6.95 charge will be manually
deleted by our sales staff. This charge is programmed in as a
minimum shipping charge and, unfortunately, must be manually
deleted. Please rest assured that we will delete the charge before
processing your credit card!
Q: I would like to order a Scapewel Egress Window Well AND a
clear cover. I am entitled to a $25 discount, but when I place the
order, the discount is not deducted. What's going on?
A: As indicated on our Scapewel shopping page, the $25 deduction will be
manually
deleted by our sales staff. Our shopping cart software is not able
to figure this discount, so we must manually deduct it when we receive
your order. Please rest assured that we will delete the charge before
processing your credit card!
Q: I've never done business with Korit Sales before. How do I know
that you are a trustworthy, legitimate company?
A: We have been in business since 1956. You can learn more about

We receive orders daily from customers throughout the USA. We are
a member of the Better
Business Bureau Online Reliability Program. We are a
family-owned business, and we pride ourselves on our quality service.
Q: If I give you my personal information, are you going to sell it
to anyone?
A: No way! We don't do that. We only use your personal information
to answer your requests or process your orders. We treat your
personal information the same way that we would want others to treat our
information. We will not spam you, telemarket you, bother you or harass
you. We just like to know who we're dealing with.
Q: I've added something to my Shopping Cart. I've tried using
the "Continue Shopping" button and my browser's "Back"
button, but your site won't let me continue shopping!

A: We've seen a few instances of this
happening. Try this: Instead of using these buttons, click
on the little down arrow (see yellow circle at right) that's next
to your browser's "Back" button. Select the page
you wish to go to. |

Q: As I'm going back and forth between the Shopping
Cart and your web pages, my order quantities keep increasing. What's
going on?
A: This is a problem that occurs with some browsers. Just always
make sure that your order quantities are correct before your submit your
order. And, very importantly, use the "Recalculate Order"
button on the top of the shopping cart page. If you change a
quantity, and don't Recalculate Order, your total and your order will be
all wrong.
Q: I've just submitted an order, and I noticed I made a
mistake. Am I too late?
A: Probably not. We're very flexible. As long as the order has
not already been shipped, we can still correct or cancel it. If you
have a mistake on your order, please call us at (800) 837-5674 as soon as
possible.
Q: I would like to order something that isn't on your shopping
pages. Can I still buy it from you?
